50th Annual Creston Auction & Country Fair

It's nearly time for the annual Creston Auction and Country Fair! Every spring, the Creston Auction draws thousands of visitors from all around the region to help benefit the amazing, all-volunteer Creston Fire Department. For the 50th year of this wonderful event, there will be incredible raffle prizes available, including a gun safe, shotgun, and commemorative rifle. Keep reading to find out all the details!

The 50th Annual Creston Auction & Country Fair will begin at 9 AM on Saturday, April 2, while the accompanying RV, Marine, Auto, Farm & Equipment Sale will begin at noon on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Both events will be taking place in Creston, Montana, located about 12 miles east of Kalispell at 4498 MT Hwy 35. In addition to the equipment sale, Sunday will also feature the aforementioned raffle drawing at noon. Hot food and beverages will be available for purchase all day on both days.

The Creston Auction is a consignment-based event, meaning that the Creston Fire Department only receives a percentage of the amount for which each item is sold. The remaining money goes to the person who brought the item to the auction. Consignment Day will be Friday, April 1 from 7 AM to 7 PM. Unless the item is donated in its entirety to the department, commission rates are no more than 25%. Higher-selling items will be subject to lower rates, and vice versa. The best part of this event is that, as always, all commissions and proceeds go back to the Creston Fire Department!
