Clean and Shop This Friday in Polson!

Looking for great events within the local Polson community? There are two very different, but very rewarding, activities happening this weekend! First, you can help make Polson a nicer and more environmentally-friendly place by participating in the annual "Clean Up! Green Up!". Then, check out the start of the 2018 Polson Farmers' Market! It's all happening this Friday!

The annual Polson Clean Up Green Up is happening this Friday, May 4, through Sunday, May 6. On Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., come to the event's headquarters at the North Lake County Library's Atrium Room to get trash bags, gloves, and an assigned area to clean up. Plus, stop in for refreshments throughout the day! Also, as part of Polson's Clean Up weekend, there will be free curbside pick-up of leaves and branches, document shredding at Glacier Bank, electronic waste disposal, and junk car towing! Click here for details.

If all that cleaning builds up an appetite for shopping, then you're in luck! The Polson Farmers' Market returns for the start of its 2018 season on Friday as well! The market is held on Fridays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on 3rd Avenue in downtown Polson and features a huge variety of local, hand-made baked goods, fabric creations, jewelry, crafts, photography, homegrown vegetables, and more! More details can always be found at the event's Facebook page.
