Enjoy Fine Art at the Sandpiper Gallery's Two Festivals

Sandpiper Art and Gift Gallery has not one, but two separate art festivals happening within the next month! First, on July 28 & 29, the Flathead Lake Festival of Art will be held in Sacajawea Park; then, on August 11, the Sandpiper Art Festival will fill the lawn in front of the Lake County Courthouse. If you love art, then you must love summertime in Polson!

First up is the Fourth Annual Flathead Lake Festival of Art, which will be held on Saturday & Sunday, July 28 & 29, in Polson's Sacajawea Park! This strictly juried show will feature original fine art and fine craft produced by artists from Montana and across the northwest. Show hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday. Just a couple of weeks later, the 47th Annual Sandpiper Art Festival will be held on the lawn of the Lake County Courthouse in Polson! This one-day-only event will be happening from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 11. The festival takes place at the same time as the Annual Car Show, which is just one block away, making this one great Saturday! Several thousand visitors attend the festival each year, making it a great opportunity for artists to gain sales and exposure to new customers. There will be live entertainment throughout the day as well as delicious food vendors available on-site. You can learn more about participating in the festival by clicking here.

Sandpiper Art and Gift Gallery is a non-profit cooperative whose mission is to encourage and promote participation in the arts in Lake County. Since 1971, its all-volunteer membership has worked toward this goal by providing scholarships to Lake County students, hosting nine gallery exhibitions each year, and holding the annual art festivals during the summertime.
