Montana Housing Market Reports March 2022: Lake County, Plains, Paradise, Hot Springs

Happy April! It is so great to see my lawn turning green. I’ve also noticed a few small purple flowers that have popped up. Anybody know what they are? They are tiny! My favorite part of spring of course is our daylight, it is now lighter much later. Yeah! We made it through the long gray winter days!

My house on Finley Point has recently had an interior gut job – with a full remodel of my kitchen & dining area. I’m so excited for the finished product, but must admit living inside a construction zone has not been fun!

The real estate market remains hot! As a seller, you can feel confident that if your sales price could have been higher than your asking price, the strong demand from buyers will adjust the price right away. There is value to pricing your property to the market based on recent and relevant market data, rather than trying a sky high number because of the sellers market buzz. If a property is priced to the market, it will likely sell right away with the potential of multiple offers.

For buyers, while the buzz of increased interest rates has truth, the rates are still at historic lows. At Century 21 Big Sky, our agents have the knowledge and skill to compete for our buyers in this market.
