Between family, work, and other necessities, everyday life is filled with things that we need to do; as a result, it can be easy to forget to take a little time to do something just because you want to! In this post, you'll find three great opportunities happening soon that are not only fun, but also help teach you something you didn't know before!

 

Nature Photography Course

When: Tuesdays from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., March 22 through April 26

Where: Lone Pine State Park Visitors Center, 300 Lone Pine Rd., Kalispell, MT 59901

With winter (mostly) behind us, now is the time to get outside! Professional photographer KC Glastetter will be instructing this course for beginner and intermediate photographers at beautiful Lone Pine State Park. The course will include both classroom and field work, with a focus on the concepts of composition, light and shadow, and understanding your camera. The cost is $50 per person. Lone Pine State Park Yoga Course

When: Two class days available: Sundays from 4:00 - 5:15 p.m., March 20 - April 24; or Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:15 p.m., March 23 - April 27

Where: Lone Pine State Park Classroom

FVCC Honors Symposium Lecture Series: "Dividing Lines: Why Good People are Divided by Politics, Religion, Race and Gender."

When: March 24 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Where: FVCC Campus, AT Building, Room 139 located at 777 Grandview Drive in Kalispell

The final presentation in Flathead Valley Community College’s 2016 Honors Symposium is coming up! The title of this lecture is “How the Constitution Should Unite Us on Politics, Religion, Race, and Gender” and is being presented by Dr. Leslie Griffin from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
