Whitefish Mountain Resort at Big Mountain
Whitefish Mountain Resort at Big Mountain has 3000 acres to ski, 300 inches average snowfall, 91 marked trails with vast amounts of bowl, tree skiing and x-country skiing. In the summer Big Mountain has mountain biking, hiking, a weekly summit concert series, and the "Walk in the Treetops®," along with many other summer activities.
Blacktail Mountain Ski Area
Located near Lakeside Blacktail is over a 1000 acres with an annual snowfall of 250 inches. Blacktail and the Flathead National Forest offer local x-country skiing trails and mountain biking in the summer.
Flathead National Forest
Stretching along the west side of the continental divide from the US Canadian border south approximately 120 miles lies the 2.3 million acre Flathead National Forest. The landscape is built from block fault mountain ranges sculpted by glaciers, and covered with a rich thick forest.
Flathead Raft Company
They offer trips suited for all levels of experience: from sea kayaking through the remote islands of the Flathead Lake, peaceful river floats in the lower canyon, to braving the Wild Buffalo Rapids of the upper canyon.

For 51 years, the Missoula Symphony Orchestra and Chorale have been inspiring Western Montana with outstanding concerts, renowned guest artists and various educational and outreach events.
National Bison Range
As its name implies, the Refuge was established to support a population of American bison. It is home to about 350-500 of these animals. Other large wildlife found on the Range include elk, white-tail and mule deer, pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep and black bear. Because of its open grasslands, the Bison Range is a place for the public to enjoy some excellent wildlife observation and photography.
Port Polson Players
Port Polson Players maintain a quality reputation of producing classic comedies and musicals. Some of Montana's best talent gives you a chance to try many shows new to the region. The setting at the John Dowdall Theatre on the beautiful Polson golf course is spectacular, with an old-world intimate atmosphere.

The possibilities are truly endless. Big Mountain Ski and Summer Resort and Blacktail Mountain Ski area, Montana's newest ski area, offer acres of uncrowded terrain. The Flathead River boasts incredible fishing and is practically a stone's throw from downtown.
Bigfork Area Chamber of Commerce The town of Bigfork is a picturesque and charming place. World class art galleries, fine restaurants, a 27-hole golf course, live theatre and unique shops can all be found within a quaint Western setting. Located near by, Glacier National Park, the Bob Marshall and the Swan Wilderness areas are full of wildlife and offer endless recreational opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.
